From Slavery To Your Closet

Now seems like a good time to revisit topics like slave labor, including child labor in the apparel industry.

To aid you with your holiday shopping this year, Free2Work has published Apparel Industry Trends: From Farm to Factory.  This includes a list of 300 companies who are ranked on their efforts to address child and forced labor throughout their supply chains. Not only does this report highlight the practices of the industry leaders, it also lets consumers know which brands still promote modern day slavery through their negligence.  Before making your next purchase, check out the companies in this report.

Free2Work is a project created by Not For Sale and supported by the International Labor Rights Forum.

In this video Mr. Batstone explains how the idea for Not For Sale was born.
