I just discovered a site that I want to share with everyone, fashioningchange. This website lets you compare brands you like with ethical and eco-friendly alternatives to those brands. You can find basic t’s, casual dress, work attire as well as accessories like jewelry, handbags and shoes. Most are small brands, many produced in the US, in Canada or the United Kingdom. Other are fairly traded from China and India. Each company that I previewed is producing both environmentally and ethically manufactured items.
While my research does not align with theirs regarding some of the large, national brands, I appreciate the extensive list of alternative labels. A few have previously been discussed on this site but many are new to me as well.
