Their Social Fingerprint® Program is a compilation of online tools to help companies assess their social fingerprints. The Social Fingerprint® Supply Chain Management Program, for retailers/brands, begins by looking a 6 performance categories in an effort to determine the retailer/brand’s social footprint.
The Gap and Timberland are two apparel brands that have participated in The Social Fingerprint® Program. Their involvement in this type of course shows a commitment on each company’s part to improve their business practices in regards to human rights throughout their supply chains. This blog has covered The Gap multiple times and is always pleased to strengthen our belief that it is a socially responsible organization. We are delighted to add Timberland to our list of companies who are taking their corporate social responsibility (CSR) obligation seriously.
