It was almost a year ago that I first came across GoodWeave USA.  The mission of this incredible organization is to “end child labor in the handmade rug industry and offer educational opportunities to children in South Asia”. 

In April, Nepal GoodWeave Foundation opened its fourth day care center in Kathmandu Valley.  Serving almost 300 children, ages 2 through 6, these educational facilities provide not only a safe, nurturing school for these children, their parents may now work to support their families in GoodWeave inspected facilities, worry-free.
